Unfixed Ground — Territorio en suspensión is an ongoing body of work developed through painting and works on paper. The project considers the image as an unstable construction, situated between observation, memory, and displacement.

Figures, landscapes, and architectural fragments appear without establishing a fixed narrative or geographical account. Forms are constructed, interrupted, and partially dissolved, allowing representation to remain provisional.

Mexico operates within the project as a point of departure rather than a subject. Its presence emerges indirectly, through shifts in colour, spatial organisation, material, and visual rhythm.

Unfixed Ground examines the conditions under which an image can remain recognisable without becoming resolved.
